Infrastructure EngineerLocation: Hybrid (Cambridge)Salary: £40,000- £45,000 (DOE) + excellent benefits, including progressionMy client, an established Managed Service Provider is looking for an experienced 3rd Line Engineer to join their team. You will be responsible for supporting the IT infrastructure of all their customer base including server, storage, network, data, and applications.Responsibilities:3rd line support- via telephone/email/ticketing systemsTroubleshooting of hardware/software issuesMaintenance and implementation of client infrastructure & serversDiagnosis and resolution of issues and ticketsRegular site visits to customer sites across the Oxfordshire area Skillset:Microsoft Windows Server (Apply online only)Microsoft desktop OS Windows 10 and 11 ProfessionalMacos, Apple IOS, Android (Desirable)MS Active DirectoryDNS, DHCP and network servicesHosted Exchange email servicesOffice 365/Azure/Hybrid including synchronisation.Microsoft Intune and MDMServer Virtualisation (Hyper-V / VMware)LAN/VLAN/WAN (routers, switches, Wi-Fi, firewall)Communications (VOIP, Leased Lines)Dell/HP Server HardwareMSP experience (desirable- NOT beneficial) This is a great opportunity for an experienced Support Engineer with an MSP background to get involved in providing support to SMEs across different industries.
