Scope of the Role

We are looking to recruit a driven and enthusiastic IFS Developer with experience in IFS Cloud or IFS Apps 10. Having recently implemented the IFS Cloud ERP Business System, we need a skilled IFS Developer to support the existing processes, facilitate continuous improvements, and drive development initiatives.

The IFS Developer will play a functional role, serving as the primary IFS expert for the organisation and its departments. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with all users to understand their requirements, map processes, and address the business needs. They will create functional specifications and implement necessary solutions. This role requires someone who can take ownership, provide guidance, manage change, and direct the development of IFS configurations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The below list is not exhaustive, but the main duties and responsibilities will be:

• Creation and implementation, and maintain CRIMS where necessary across all modules.
• Create and amend forms.
• Create and modify work flows across all modules.
• Create reports using Business reporter.
• Create and amend lobbies.
• Email configuration set up and maintenance.
• B2B implementation and maintenance.
• Maintain security administration of the ERP system, ensuring users have appropriate permissions.
• Provide training and support for the organisation across all modules.
• Develop functional solutions to drive business efficiency and improve processes.
• Assist in creating and maintaining project documentation, user guides, and best practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies while contributing to the professional development of team members.
• Lead quality assurance and testing efforts, ensuring solutions meet ABT's highest standards of excellence.
• Author and maintain the user manual for staff.
• Ensure strict adherence to software licensing rules and maintain accurate records.
• Guide staff through setup or issue resolution steps.
• Analyse software application issues and determine effective actions to improve operational functionality.
• Test and evaluate new product features.
• Perform any other reasonably requested duties.

Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours

• Extensive experience working as an IFS Technical Consultant, IFS Developer or similar role.
• Knowledge of IFS Cloud (preferred) or IFS Apps 10
• Knowledge of system module integration
• Experience in mapping processes
• Experience in developing end user training.
• Experience in system acceptance testing
• Experience with report design/ development tools such as Crystal, Power BI, SQL would be preferable.
• Experience of IFS implementation process
• Experience in CRIMS
• Experience working within Inhouse roles and consultancies

Additional Information

Salary:  £65-70k

Bonus:  TBC

Pension Scheme:  4% Employer Contribution and 5% Employee Contribution

Annual Leave:  25 days and bank holidays
