HRLife is delighted to be working with a Tech SME at an exciting time of change as HR transitions to becoming a more strategic function. Playing a pivotal role in this is hiring a proactive and commercial HR Business Partner. This will be a broad generalist role encompassing the day-to-day elements but will also have a high content of HR project work. Working closely with the Head of HR on these projects designed to enhance the function, you’ll help shape and create things from scratch. This is a role that will give you the opportunity to partner with the business, take responsibility for managing two direct reports and really make your mark in terms of bringing in new HR initiatives.

A busy role working to elevate the People offering, it will include:

  • Plenty of relationship building, engaging with the key stakeholders covering a broad spectrum of generalist HR activities encompassing ER, Restructuring, L&D, Performance Management, Talent Management and Reward & Recognition.
  • Providing commercial advice on a range of HR issues, upskilling and coaching managers on ER matters. Really developing their HR knowledge base.
  • Developing a first-class employee experience from supporting health and wellbeing to shaping and designing learning and development initiatives.
  • Continuously improving processes and policies to reflect best practices and support the employee experience.
  • Project work including an HRIS integration and a cultural change programme.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working closely with the business in a small but collaborative HR team, passionate about creating a people-centric HR offering. In addition, you’ll be:

  • CIPD level 7 qualified with previous experience of working in a commercial business.
  • Used to working in a broad generalist role with a good grounding in employment law.
  • Able to demonstrate previous HR project experience.
  • Familiar with utilising data to help make credible business decisions.
  • HRIS savvy.
  • Happy to work a hybrid pattern, 2 days a week in the office
