HSQE Manager in Nottingham

We are searching for an experience HSQE Manager to join a renewable energy organisation who specialise in Solar PV, BESS and EV.

You will play a pivotal role as Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Manager by developing and implementing HSQE policies, carrying out risk assessments and helping to train employees and contractors.

Job: HSQE Manager

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 Per Annum

Location: Nottingham

Type: Permanent - Monday - Friday

HSQE Manager Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain quality, health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure legal compliance.
• Identify and mitigate workplace hazards through risk assessments and safety analyses.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental laws and standards.
• Develop and provide safety, quality, and environmental training for employees and contractors
• Investigate accidents and incidents to find root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Create and update emergency response and evacuation plans for various scenarios.
• Regularly inspect and audit facilities and processes for safety and environmental compliance.
• Keep accurate HSQE records and prepare necessary reports for management and authorities.
• Evaluate and monitor the QSHE performance of suppliers and contractors.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve QSHE performance
• Develop and manage QSHE program budgets.
• Act as the main contact with regulatory agencies on QSHE matters.
• Implement initiatives to reduce the organisation's environmental impact.
• et and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of QSHE programs.

HSQE Manager Requirements:

• Experience / understanding of Solar PV or electrical systems
• Previous experience and thorough understanding of HSQE laws, regulations and standards
• UK Driving Licence
