Meridian Business Support are working with our fantastic client within the Public Services sector, they are looking for an HR Manager to join the team either based near the Amesbury (Wiltshire) or the Swindon Office. About the roleTo provide a full range of HR support to the group. This role is responsible for aligning objectives with employees and leaders in various locations, alongside this, you will be responsible for implementing new HR systems and data analysis for the Group. Key Accountabilities:Act as the data analyst for the HR team, taking ownership of the HR data manipulation and reportingSupport to streamline processes and help to manage HR & payroll systemsConsult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriateProviding an effective support service to end usersManage and resolve complex employee relations issuesMaintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory complianceProvide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions)Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retentionProvide HR policy guidance and interpretationDevelop contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfersProvide guidance and input on restructures, workforce planning and succession planningParticipate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success and follow up to ensure training objectives are metManagement of the HR Support TeamAbout you:Minimum of 3 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issuesWorking knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organisational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and employment lawsLevel 5 CIPDExperience of data entry using HR Information SystemsExperience of implementing new HR softwareKnowledge of HR systems and softwareKnowledge of HR data auditing and cleansingWillingness to complete training including safeguarding and GDPR training.Must be able to pass DBS checksThis is a full time role working Monday to Friday 37 hours a week, offering a £45,500 - £51,500 plus great benefits including 31 days holiday + bank holidays.
