The CAN Group of companies are leading providers in Engineering, Integrity, Inspection and Maintenance solutions to the energy industry worldwide.


We currently have an excellent opportunity for a HR Co-ordinator to join our busy HR Department on a full-time basis.


This role is working Monday to Friday, 37.

5 hours per week.

Overtime may be required at busy periods.


This role requires engagement across all of CAN’s business streams in terms of providing a strong HR service to internal stakeholders.

Working alongside the HR Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the complete Employee life cycle for both onshore and offshore employees.

The role will support a wide range of HR activities including recruitment, inductions, data input, projects and as well as providing support to the wider HR and Recruitment Team.


Along with working within a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation, the successful candidate will have structured training and career development within the HR profession.


Candidates should possess the following skills, however, training and mentoring will be provided:


Essential

  • Sound working knowledge of employment law and the application thereof, with an appetite to expand knowledge in line with the development of this role.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritising responsibilities to achieve deadlines.
  • Strong team player but also able to work effectively unsupervised when required.
  • An approachable manner and the ability to build good working relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent communicator, oral and written form
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and pro-active.
  • Honest, trustworthy and discreet.
  • Demonstrable experience providing efficient HR services to internal stakeholders
  • Highly confidential, sincere and honest, with a high level of professional and personal integrity.
  • Highly visible, enthusiastic with the ability to remain positive and focus on delivery.
  • Enthusiastic, high-energy individual capable of managing multiple priorities effectively


Desirable

  • Working towards CIPD qualification (or equivalent) – support will be given by the Company where appropriate.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an HR environment.
  • Knowledge of employment law and employee relations.
  • Experience in HR applications and/or systems.
  • Related degree qualification desirable but not essential


Candidates should live within commuting distance of CAN’s Aberdeen Office and hold a full UK Driving Licence.
