Job Description

The HR Assistant duties involve a wide range of support activities inside our HR department. An important part of your role will be to act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions. You'll also assist in creating policies, processes and documents.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting line managers & HR in the delivery of an effective Employee Relations service;
  • Supporting the organisation through restructures;
  • Monitoring and overseeing HR compliance and HR privacy activities to ensure they are legally compliant;
  • Supporting and processing recruitment activities and onboarding including employment contract drafting and first day induction;
  • Preparing documentation during employment cycle including contract change, probation etc.;
  • Creating and updating people policies and procedures;
  • Setting up learning and development interventions to meet the needs of the organisation and recording training record;
  • Managing external workforce relating to process;
  • Ad Hoc duties as required
  • Skills Required

  • Experience in HR operations/ Degree in Human Resources/ CIPD Qualified
  • Perform well under pressure
  • Agile and a quick learner
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Good communication and presentation skills in English
  • Team orientated
  • Results focused
  • Confidence to work across all levels of the business
