Job Description

Job Title: HR Analyst
Location: Cookstown
Duration: Full Time / Permanent / Hybrid (3/2 Split)
Salary: 40-45k



VANRATH are delighted to be working with our highly-valued client in the Manufacturing industry as they search for an exceptional HR Advisor to join their HR function.

You will collect, curate and interpret data to create people insights which guide decision making across the business. You will play a vital role in optimising our current HR systems within the business leading projects that increase HR data efficiency and accuracy.

You will be responsible for:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop questions and hypotheses for insights into people issues.
  • Collate and analyse HR data to identify trends and make recommendations.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support business objectives and answer key business questions.
  • Conduct benchmarking and competitive analysis to identify best practices and opportunities for improving HR practices.
  • Create data visualisations and use storytelling techniques to inform decision-making on people issues.
  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and visualisations to communicate data insights to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR by maintaining accurate records, including contracts and documentation.
  • Ensure data privacy and security, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
  • Focus on HR improvements and utilise Excel extensively.
  • Identify trends, patterns, correlations, and insights related to HR metrics and KPIs.
  • Maintain employee records and update the ERP system accordingly.
  • Optimise HR systems to reduce administrative time.
  • Participate in HR data analytics projects, including system implementations, process improvements, and automation.
  • Protect the confidentiality of all information and data.
  • Regularly review and audit HR data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance, resolving discrepancies.
  • Support HR projects by providing data-driven insights and recommendations for enhancing processes and effectiveness.
  • About You

  • CIPD qualified
  • Power BI experience
  • To be data savvy and demonstrate this in your role.
  • Proven organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan, organise and control daily workload.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - A track record of identifying and successfully implementing process changes.
  • The ability to work with and influence colleagues in a department other than their own
