Inside are 40 bedrooms, two restaurants, the library and Swim Club; our take on a spa, with treatment rooms and a 20 metre lake view swimming pool.Outside are rolling grounds, secluded nooks and the lakeshore with our own jetty. Stay on your own, with friends or the family plus the dog to discover adventure and tranquillity in the Lakes.Main duties and responsibilities:Oversee and assist in the smooth running of all guest-related issuesHave a physical presence at the front desk until all guests have returned to their roomsEnsure the night audit is run accurately and in line with SOPs.Prepare the arrival cards and charge cards for the following day’s arrivalsCarry out regular floor checksPrepare and deliver any room service ordersOversee the night cleaner and ensure all areas are being cleaned to the required standardEnsure the internal security of the building. I.e. External doors are locked and secure, CCTV is monitored regularlyBe responsible for the cleanliness of the reception area, and the cleaning and maintenance of the open firesAdvise senior management of any major incident as per emergency contact sheetEnforce and comply with all company policies and procedures which are fundamental in maintaining effective performance, communication and good business reputationProvide a detailed handover to the early GRM, including any guest related or maintenance issuesSupport the management team with any relevant administration tasks as requiredEssential criteria:A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar roleExperience of running night auditExcellent communication skillsDiplomatic natureA sound knowledge of a hotel integrated PMS systemGood knowledge of Microsoft office, Word, Excel & OutlookPrevious front-of-house experienceFirst Aid qualification is preferredCurrent Enhanced DBS check is preferredFire warden experience is preferredAbility to remain calm under pressureCommitment to customer serviceStrong team player, with bags of enthusiasm and personalityI would like to thank you for your interest shown in this position.
