History Teacher - CroydonNow Education are working on behalf of a brilliant secondary school in Croydon who are seeking a Teacher of History to join them from September 2024.

This is a great opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of students at the school, within a supportive History team that sits in a well-established humanities department.

If you have a strong knowledge of the KS3, KS4 and KS5 History curriculum, live within a commutable distance of Bromley, and have a commitment to nurturing students’ enthusiasm for History, we would love to hear from you.

Your responsibilities will include:· Planning and delivering engaging lessons that align with the KS3 and KS4 History Curriculum· Developing and implementing schemes of work and lesson plans that cater to the individual needs and abilities of the students.

· Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and implementing strategies for improvement.

· Collaborating with other members of the Humanities department to develop and enhance the History curriculum and resources.

· Building positive relationships with students, parents, and teachers, whilst maintaining effective communication channels.

To be considered for this History Teacher role in Bromley, you should meet the following requirements:· Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in History or a related subject.

· Proven experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4 levels, with a track record of achieving excellent results.

· Strong subject knowledge· Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that enables all students to thrive.

· Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
