Zest Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of History to join a secondary school in the Bournville area.

This is a full-time role that will involve planning and marking, as well as teaching students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

The role is due to commence in September 2024 and will run for a minimum of one term.

As a History Teacher in this school, you will have the opportunity to work within a supportive environment that is part of a Multi Academy Trust.

Responsibilities:1.

Plan and deliver engaging History lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

2.

Assess and mark student work, providing feedback to support their learning and progress.

3.

Keep accurate records of student achievement and progress.

4.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop and review the History curriculum.

5.

Participate in parents' evenings, school events, and meetings as required.

6.

Uphold school policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive learning environment for students.

Requirements:1.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Teaching qualification.

2.

Strong subject knowledge in History.

3.

Experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4 levels.

4.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5.

Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.

6.

Organisational skills to effectively plan and manage workload.

7.

Commitment to continuous professional development.
