HGV Class 1 Shunters Wanted In CARLISLE! Logistics People are looking for HGV Shunter/HGV Class 1 Shunter/LGV Shunter/LGV Class 1 Shunter/Class 1 Shunters working on a Full time Equivalent (FTE) basis at our Stobarts Carlisle depot.Location: Carlisle CA14 1JX Working Hours:4 On 4 Off 18:00 - 06:00 Shifts AvailablePay rates:£17.80 P/hr - Equivalent to £31,800 P/a About this Role:Operate Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner within the premisesManoeuvre vehicles into loading and unloading bays according to schedulesPerform pre-operational checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working conditionCommunicate effectively with warehouse staff and drivers to coordinate movement of goodsAdhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policiesComplete necessary paperwork accurately and promptlyAssist with general yard duties and maintenance tasks as requiredAbout YouYou should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence. No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictionsHold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cardsUnderstand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislationAble to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctlyShould comply with on-site health and safety requirementsExcellent communication skillsAbout Logistics PeopleThe Logistics People are the inhouse recruiter for the Culina Group LTD recruiting for both FTE and Ad Hoc driving roles.
