The Opportunity

Based onsite at Glensanda, the largest granite quarry in Europe we now have an opportunity for a Mobile Plant Fitter to join our existing large team of engineers.

Youll be based across this 6,000 acre site and will operate on a 7on 7off rotation. Where with the support of our existing maintenance team youll become an expert in maintenance operations of large heavy plant.

Youll attend reactive maintenance calls across our fleet of x25 heavy mobile plant vehicles including Caterpillar 992 Wheel Loaders & 777G Dump Trucks

Youll work on projects & PPMs to help keep our mobile plant equipment operational.

For minor maintenance tasks youll train and develop our onsite operators.

With a focus on Health & Safety across our business this role is no different, youll carry out all repairs safely and continue to maintain a hazard free environment.

Glensanda is only accessible via the Aggregate Industries ferry from Benderloch, so you could either do a daily trip or stop onsite in free en-suite accommodation.

Who you are

Youll have experience as a Fitter/ Mechanic for either a Mobile Plant, HGV or Forklift environment.

Youll be component working with Hydraulic equipment
