We are looking for experienced and committed Healthcare Assistants with an interactive approach, who are eager to enhance their skills in the complex care sector. While prior complexcare experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement as full bespoke clinical training will be provided.

You will need to be passionate about delivering the highest quality care to our service users, building positive relationships with them and their family whilst empowering them to live as independently as possible within the comfort of their own home.

Meet our service user

Our service user is a teenage boy that is living with his family in Peterlee and requires care throughout the night on a 1:1 basis to support his complex care needs.

He is generally a happy young boy who loves to spend time with others attending school and participating in everyday activities.

Throughout the night you will support with his night-time routine this includes providing personal care, moving, and handling, clinical observations and attending to his clinical care needs where required. You will create a calming environment, offering reassurance and comfort when needed to promote a restful nights sleep.

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have experience with the following:

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • Valid Driving Licence
  • Experience working with the following clinical needs is desirable, however is not essential to be considered for this role:

  • Experience working with cerebral Palsy
  • Gastrostomy Feeding
  • Tracheostomy Care
  • Ventilation Management
  • Suctioning
  • Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

    It is essential to hold a valid driving licence with access to your own vehicle for this position

    We have the following shifts available

  • Full Time and Part Time Nights
  • 2 - 3 shifts per week
  • 9:30pm – 8:00am
  • Take a look at our pay rates

    Weeknights: £13.50 per hour (£141.75 approx. per 10.5 hour shift)

    Saturday & Sundays: £14.00 per hour (£147.00 approx. per 10.5 hour shift)

    Bank Holidays: £15.00 per hour (£157.50 approx. per 10.5 hour shift)
