We are looking for experienced and committed Healthcare Assistants with an interactive approach, who are eager to enhance their skills in the complex care sector. While prior complex care experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement as full bespoke clinical training will be provided.

You will need to be passionate about delivering the highest quality care to our service users, building positive relationships with them and their family whilst empowering them to live as independently as possible within the comfort of their own home.

Meet our service user

Our service user is a selfless gentleman in his 50’s who lives at home with his family in Bolton and requires support with his complex care needs on a 2:1 basis throughout the night.

He is a big family man who loves to spend quality time with his family, he also has a brilliant sense of humour, very Selfless who always thinks of others.

His hobbies and interests, include watching football, horseracing, and visiting the hydro pool with the support from his care team.

He enjoys spending time at his holiday cottage in Lancashire and our ideal applicant will be flexible and able to commit to accompany him during his holiday stays to ensure he continues receiving the support he needs.

Throughout the night you will provide support with his night-time routine including personal care needs, repositioning, being vigilant and making close observations to his clinical care needs. You will attend to his care needs when required and make regular checks throughout the night to ensure his comfort.

Our service user is none verbal and communicates through eye gaze, it is important our care team become familiar with his methods of communication to ensure his needs and wishes are met. Patience and understanding are key qualities for this role.

Due to the intensity of our service users’ needs It is essential for our care team to have complex care experience, including tracheostomy care and PEG feeding, and to have experience working with non-verbal clients for this position

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

It is essential to hold a valid driving licence for this position to drive our service users adapted vehicle

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have experience with the following:

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • Experience working with Non-Verbal clients
  • Complex care Experience
  • Valid Manual Driving License
  • Experience working with the following clinical needs is desirable, however is not essential to be considered for this role:

  • Convene Catheter
  • Bowel Management
  • Nebuliser care
  • We have the following shifts available

  • Part Time Nights
  • 2 Shifts per week
  • 9:00pm- 8:00am
  • Alternate Weekends are required for this position
  • Take a look at our pay rates

  • Weeknights: £13.50 per hour Approx. £148.50 per 11-hour shift
  • Saturdays: £14.00 per hour Approx. £154 per 11-hour shift
  • Sundays: £14.50 per hour Approx. £159.50 per 11-hour shift
  • Bank Holiday: £17.50 per hour Approx. £192.50 per 11-hour shift
