Head Of Legal in Cornwall

LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a small in-house legal services team in the healthcare public sector. They are seeking a temporary head of legal services to manage their clinical negligence claims processes, inquests and Court of Protection matters.

The role will be temporary for 3 months initially, although there may be potential to extend. You will be based in Truro, Cornwall, therefore you must be able to commute to this area. A full clean driving licence is required.

You will directly line manage two members of staff who also work on claims and inquest matters, and you will report directly to the Director of Governance.

To apply you will be:

• A UK-qualified solicitor, admitted to the SRA for England and Wales
• Experienced in advising on a broad range of healthcare matters including clinical negligence claims and inquests
• Looking to work in a small legal services team
• Able to commute to the office in Truro, Cornwall

The salary band is £70,000 - £81,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
