Job Title: Head of IT

Location: London

Work Pattern: Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 5:30pm

Here at Ryder Reid, we are seeking an assertive, technical Head of IT with leadership abilities to join our US law firm client, leading, mentoring and progressing their IT department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic IT leader to make a significant impact with a prestigious law firm.

The role consists of providing leadership and management to the London IT team, overseeing the Service Desk Manager and ensuring resolution of issues and requests within the established service level agreements, overseeing the AV team and Network Engineer, along with managing the IT Trainer and training initiatives.

The role requires a deep understanding of IT requirements within the legal industry, paired with technical expertise and strong leadership skills.

The firm is an American multinational law firm which has offices all over the world, including North and South America, Europe and Asia.

Responsibilities:

Providing strategic direction to the IT team to achieve firm objective and priorities, overseeing day-to-day operationsManaging IT projects within time and budget guidelinesStaying up-to-date with emerging technologiesCollaborating with key stakeholders at all levels Managing vendor relationshipsOverseeing the Service Desk Manager and Audio Visual teamEnsuring technical support is being provided to staff in a timely manner and effectively, within agreed SLA'sGaining an understanding of stakeholder AV requirementsOverseeing the Network Engineer to support the optimisation of network infrastructure and wireless networksCollaborating with the IT Trainer to develop, implement and deliver IT trainingIdentify training needs of the London office

The Ideal Candidate:

Extensive senior IT leadership experience from the legal sectorStrong technical background with demonstrated staff management experience Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholder at all levelsAbility to prioritise a varied workload and balance multiple projectsInformed and knowledgeable of emerging technologies and industry trends to evaluate their potential impact on the firm to enhance efficiency, security and productivityAbility to ensure SLA's are met/exceeded For further information, please apply.
