Your new role

The Global Head of Internal Communications, based in our London Head Office, is responsible for overall Global level internal communications, campaigns and events and provides oversight for the internal communications framework globally, working in close partnership with the regional communications leaders, in order that we drive progress against our key commitments and in particular people engagement and client satisfaction.

This role will require the successful applicant to will use a solutions focused approach to manage complex relationships globally with a vision to drive of the medium and long term organisational goals, in particular those relating to people engagement.

What you'll need to succeed

We are looking for a specialist communications leader with the gravitas and experience to manage complex relationships globally within a matrix organisation.

Experience of operating in an international environment with appreciation of linguistic and cultural differences would be preferred.

Additionally the successful candidate will possess:

  • A vision for the medium/long-term perspective on all elements of proactive and reactive communication and channel development
  • Demonstrable experience in a variety of issues and crisis management
  • You’ll also be expected to possess first-class judgment and the ability to balance the needs of the business, employees and external stakeholders and develop solutions using experience and creativity.
  • Able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the business environment and be commercially astute.
  • You will also need to create a very strong impact with senior stakeholders and therefore possess the influencing skills to succeed at that level

From an individual level you will have a mature, calm and focussed demeanour.

You will be an effective networker and collaborator.

It is also important that you are able to handle large amounts of information in a time-sensitive environment, prioritise and deliver to deadlines.
