The Phoenix is an incredible Social Pub and Kitchen site located in the heart Coventry city centre and right next to the University. This truly is a flagship site, invested 3 years ago and offers an array of reasons to visit.

Trading well and catering to an alternative and diverse crowd, The Phoenix is looking forward to a successful year - already boasting several strong sessions – including established club nights on a Wednesday, Friday and Saturday before rounding off the week with a legendary Quiz every Sunday.

With an amazing urban beer garden, pavement licence to the front and multipurpose club room including big screen and stage upstairs The Phoenix is a unique and exciting site to pique the interest of the most entrepreneurial operators.

With a superb food offer, complimented by our Dark Kitchens takeaway menu and a strong Sports following the Phoenix also benefits from a fantastic team capable of ensuring the venue continues to grow when the students return.

We are looking for a General Manager with the passion, and creativity to inspire and innovate further. If you think you have the drive to take on a flagship site and develop a high calibre team to the next level, then get in touch.

You will be a confident leader with an eye for detail, passionate about ensuring your pub is best in class across all aspects of the business from food to craft, sport to huge student nights and a top-notch Rhythm of The Week brilliantly executed.

As a driven individual with great leadership skills, you will be capable of interacting with food and drink customers alike whilst taking a high performing team to the next level. Ideally you will have a flair for innovation, marketing of key weekly events as well as big one off events, whilst staying on top of emerging trends and pushing boundaries to implement new ideas into your venue.
