Fundraising Officer in London

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Fundraising Officer to join the team at a leading Charity, based in London.

This role is critical in developing and executive fundraising strategies to secure funding and resources that support the Charity’s services.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising plans to achieve revenue targets
• Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations
• Create compelling proposals, grant applications, and fundraising materials to attract and retain donors
• Organise and coordinate fundraising events and campaigns
• Collaborate with internal teams to align fundraising efforts with the Charity’s goals and missions
• Monitor and report on fundraising performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
• Maintain accurate records of donations and donor information in the CRM system
• Represent the Charity at events, conferences, and networking functions

Ideal candidate profile:

• Strong background in fundraising, development or a related role
• Strong understanding of fundraising principles and strategies
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships

Contract: 6 months interim contract, with opportunity to extend

Daily rate: £125 a day PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay)

Working hours: Full time

Working pattern: Hybrid (2 days per week in office)
