Here at Shropshire Community Leisure Trust our goal is to get more people, more active, more often. We provide affordable access to a wide range of sports and leisure facilities to support healthier and happier people across all segments of the local community. To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for a full time Front of House Co-ordinator to join our centre.
The purpose of the role will be to lead all commercial elements, bookable activities and health and fitness sales at the Shrewsbury Sports Village. This is a brand new and exciting role that will see you planning and delivering a safe, fun, and engaging programme including holiday clubs, soft play programmes and parties as well as maximising booking spaces and driving health & fitness sales. At all times you will help create a community and always deliver excellent customer service.
The reason for the role is to strengthen our approach to all commercial elements at the Shrewsbury Sports Village and to accommodate for the ever-changing demand in children’s activities across the community and to support the Facility Manager with Stakeholder relationships.
This is a hands-on role, which will see you directly managing the reception team, delivering training, and supporting the day to day running of the centre, reporting directly to the Facility Manager.
You will help in facilitating a safe, fun, and professional working environment with excellent training and development opportunities, as well as a free membership to our leisure centres.
Serco manages these facilities on a day-to-day basis on behalf of the Trust
