We optimise and innovate.We turn big ideas into the products, content and services millions of people love.And we do it all right here at Sky.What you'll do * Act as the technical lead to a team of engineers working cross-functionally in an agile environment * Be a top-notch coder and an expert in the domain, capable of deep diving into implementation details of components and features across the technology stacks * Be at the forefront of significant technology initiatives from inception to successful deployment * Help shape the technical direction and the improvement of tools and processes across the department * Take ownership of code quality and upkeep of front end repositories * Help lead our front end developers community of practice * Lead and mentor developersWhat you'll bring * An extensive client-side JavaScript experience * Detailed knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, in particular React * Excellent HTML and CSS knowledge * Experience with GraphQL and TypeScript would be beneficial * Ideally some experience with Java * Experience following coding standards and performing peer code reviews * Experience with CI pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools * Experience leading small to medium-sized software engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum environmentTeam overviewUK&I TechnologyGround-breaking projects.
