A leading Intellectual Property firm in the heart of London is currently looking to recruit a French Speaking Management Accountant. You will assist the Head of Finance in the delivery of operational services, compliance work and management and financial reporting with specific responsibility for financial duties relating to the firm’s French business.

Requirement: Qualified accountant, ideally with a recognised French accountancy body. We will consider applications from UK accountants with an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification and a strong record in handling French accountancy and tax matters.

**French Speaking is essential**

Location – Central London – Hybrid working available (3 days in the office & 2 days from home)

Salary – Negotiable

Duties include:

  • Providing support for the preparation and submission of all relevant statutory and regulatory accounts returns for the firm’s French business, both monthly returns such as TVA Returns, DES returns and annual returns eg CIT returns, CVAE returns and similar; handling any queries regarding the same
  • Providing support for project work of a financial nature or having a financial aspect, in support of the firm's business in France or elsewhere
  • Providing support for the Head of Finance, the finance team and stakeholders in the business in the preparation of management and budgetary information, including commentary, to required deadline
  • Providing support in the preparation of the annual accounts for review by the Head of Finance and senior management
  • Providing support in the administration of partners’ remuneration or reporting matters
  • Providing support in the analysis of general ledger accounts for taxation purposes and to support internal review and handling of queries from budget holders or senior management
  • Providing support for general reconciliation work as required
  • Providing additional reporting services as required by senior management, partners or other staff members from time to time
  • Responding to specific queries from stakeholders to help them better understand their financial information
