Food Technology Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)Solihull, Birmingham£30,000 - £46,525 per annumSalary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The school is in a convenient location, with on-site parking available and nearby transport links. As a Food Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for:Planning and delivering engaging and comprehensive Food Technology lessons to students aged 11-16.Developing students' practical skills, theoretical knowledge, and understanding of nutrition and food science.Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.Collaborating with colleagues to create a stimulating learning environment and contribute to the school's wider community.RequirementsThe successful Food Technology Teacher will have;Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Degree in Food Technology or a related subject.Experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary school level.Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.What we offerAs a teacher, part of our team, you benefit from:Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
