RECRUITMENTiQ is currently working in partnership with a local organisation seeking an ambitious and self-motivated individual to take on the role of Fleet Mechanic at its friendly and modern workshop based in Grangemouth.

Responsibilities:

Are you dynamic and want to make a difference in how we deliver public services?

If so, this is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with excellent mechanical, diagnostic and administrative skills to support the repair and maintenance of a diverse range of Council owned & hired vehicles.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of work is produced inclusive of servicing, repair and fault diagnosis.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role you should be a qualified motor mechanic and have excellent diagnostic skills. You should also have the ability to work independently both safely and competently and have a passion for providing exceptional customer service,

We welcome applicants who are keen to be trained on HGVs and our EV fleet.

We are looking for integrity, a can-do attitude, and someone with excellent communication skills who can work in partnership with other council staff as required.

Our workshop is modern, well-equipped, and provides the perfect environment for you to thrive and excel in your role.

You will work 37 hours per week on a fixed shift, Monday to Thursday 8am 4pm and Friday 8am 3.30pm creating the perfect work life balance, overtime is available when required.
