A bit about the job:
The key purpose of this role is to use your expertise to provide advice, support, challenge to, and 2nd line oversight of, the Aviva Insurance Limited (AIL) business to help manage the risk of financial crime.
This will involve working closely across the Financial Crime Team; with financial crime professionals within Aviva and wider business stakeholders.
You will provide financial crime expertise to the AIL business while building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships.
Part of this role is to:
Effectively manage planned and unplanned financial crime queries raised by the business
Identify and assess financial crime risks (known/emerging) and issues, ensure material issues are appropriately managed
Undertake financial crime related initiatives to improve financial crime risk management
Deliver financial crime planned activities (e.g., guidance on key projects and process change initiatives, risk assessments, training & awareness (develop, facilitate and deliver), data analytics (intelligence and alert management)
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Proven experience working in a Financial Crime role – ideally in fraud and bribery – within financial services – insurance background is desirable
Outstanding stakeholder management skills, experience working in an advisory role
Educated to degree level or have a relevant professional qualification or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and ability developed through industry experience

Salary up to £50,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
