Financial Controller in Islington

Permanent Financial ControllerPinpoint Resourcing are currently working with a growing Manufacturing and Retail business to source a permanent Financial Controller to work alongside the MD to set up a robust finance function.Duties: * Complete monthly management accounts in accordance with an agreed timetable. * Provide reliable, accurate financial information to key internal and external stakeholders. * Business planning, budgeting & forecasting. * Prepare and own the monthly balance sheet reconciliations. * Oversee the maintenance of the fixed asset register. * Daily cash controls and weekly cash management, reconciliation and forecasting. * Review of current financial systems, processes and controls and implement efficiencies. * Oversee preparation and submission of VAT, PAYE/NICetc. * Oversee the preparation of the year end statutory accounts. * Liaison with auditors and tax advisors.Requirements: * Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent * 2-3 years experience working in a similar position * Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Sumifs, etc)Salary + other information: * £60,000 to £70,000 DOE * Based in Islington * Hybrid working arrangementIf you are interested in the role please apply!Due to the anticipated high volume of applications for this advertisement, it is with regret that we may only be able to contact those applicants successful in being shortlisted.
