Financial Controller in Garforth

At CGC Event Caterers, we are recruiting for a Financial Controller to join the team who would be looking to progress into a Finance Manager role in the near future. We are seeking a FC to join the team at an exciting period of growth and change at CGC whereby as the business develops, the opportunity to develop into a Finance Manager is already in the pipeline!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare monthly management reporting including balance sheet reconciliation to the group reporting timeline in accordance with group framework.
• Identify and implement improvements in processes and systems, with the objective of improving controls and efficiencies
• Monitor & review key venue client accounts to ensure info is provided accurately & timely
• Work closely with the Revenue and inventory controller to ensure adequate controls and procedures are in place.
• Review of weekly supplier payment runs and fortnightly payroll before submission
• Assist the Finance Director with the day-to-day tasks as required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• CIMA, ACA OR ACCA Qualified
• High levels of accuracy
• Advanced Excel Skills
• D365 or Sage experience is ideal but not necessary
• Excellent time management and organisational skills

Please note, our Head Office is based in Garforth, Leeds therefore you must be in located in the surrounding areas or make a sensible commute to and from work
