Finance Manager in London

BioTalent is pleased to be working with an exciting international group, who is a leader in Global Business Conglomerate with diverse interests in Pharma, Financial Services, Real Estate, and Glass Packaging.

My client is currently looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join the team in London, UK.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the Financial Planning and Analysis, Financial Reporting, Cash Flow Management, Account & Compliance as well as team lead the finance and accounting team.

This position is hybrid and will require you to travel to the office in West London a few days a week.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Conduct financial analysis.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and reviews.
• Monitor cash flow and liquidity.
• Manage working capital, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, payroll, and expense reimbursement.
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team.
• Provide training and professional development opportunities to enhance team skills.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.

You will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA, CA or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
• Strong knowledge of Local GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in SAP / SAP HANA and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management, staff, and external stakeholders.
