JOB TITLE: Finance Manager – GM

REPORTS TO: Financial Controller - EU

LOCATION: Leeds, UK

OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a experienced, highly organised and motivated Finance Manager to support the Financial Controller and manage the efficient running of our Gross Margin finance team. You will be working in a fast-paced, ambitious team with a real focus on continuous improvement. The role will help to provide insight into business performance and assist stakeholders with decision making.

Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do (RESPONSIBILITIES)

Managing the month end close for Gross Margin, ensuring all deadlines are met

Working with Account Managers to ensure completeness and accuracy of reported retailer deductions

Management/coaching of a small team

Responsibility for Balance sheet reconciliation/review

Producing variance analysis

Fulfilling monthly and quarterly internal reporting requirements

ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS (REQUIREMENTS):

Highly numerate with strong analytical ability

Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with both financial and non-financial management

Methodical and diligent with a willingness to work toward and manage tight deadlines.

Have a can-do attitude and work well within a team

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a finance role

Qualified in either ACCA/CIMA

Strong excel skills
