Who we’re looking for:

Ardmore are looking for a Finance Manager to support the Financial Director in this leading role within the Finance Department assisting with the production of monthly management accounts and analysis of company performance.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work closely with our Client Services team to prioritise and manage billing to meet month end close deadlines. Take full ownership of the invoicing process from review of estimates to issuance of invoice to clients.
  • Ensure that all employee time, expenses and other third part costs are accurately reflected against the appropriate projects and billed correctly.
  • Develop and maintain Company’s fixed asset register.
  • Process and reconcile invoices, expenses, bank statements and credit cards.
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate onboarding of new clients and suppliers onto the finance system.
  • Assist with the reconciliation of prepayments and accruals.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales forecasting & utilisation reports and providing key information and insights in support of monthly board packs.
  • Assist with the preparation of end of year accounts.
  • Help to improve efficiency in relation to the overall financial department by identify and embracing new technology or ways of working.
  • Having a working knowledge of key tasks undertaken by colleagues in the Finance Team to provide Holiday cover as required.
  • Any other tasks deemed necessary by the Financial Director.

What you need:

Essential

Qualifications/Attainments

Educated to at least GCSE O’ Level in English and Mathematics.

Relevant Experience

At least 2 years experience as an Accounts Assistant.

IT literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Skills/Knowledge/Aptitudes/Disposition

Ability to work quickly, methodically, and logically.

Good analytical approach to work.

Able to work to rigid deadlines.

Good organisational skills.

Oral and written proficiency and

completely fluent in English.

Additional finance/accounts qualifications.

Relevant experience

At least 2 years’ experience working in a Sales Ledger role.

Knowledge of Adserve.

Previous Reception / front of house experience
