The Role The position of Finance Manager will support the Finance Director as they embarks on a journey to evolve and modernise the finance function including process improvement, systems and automation. The role will be excellently balanced between BAU, commercial and operational finance as it aids further growth and expansion. This is a lean business and finance function, providing exceptional visibility, exposure and autonomy. The SLT already have one on succession planning, and this role would be the perfect platform for those individuals with aspirations to achieve a Finance Director or CFO role within the future. The main components of the role will include:
Reporting to and deputising for the Finance Director
Leading a small finance team
Statutory and management accounting
Budgeting, forecasting an cash flow analysis
Taxation & VAT returns
Assisting with compliance & risk mitigation
Overseeing transactional finance – AP, AR
Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls & systems
