The Role The Head of Finance is seeking an individual that is passionate about process improvement, and also keen to constantly take on additional duties, responsibilities & exposure. The Head of Finance has ambitions to gravitate into a more senior position, providing an excellent pathway for an ambitious Finance Manager keen to climb through the ranks.    The role will begin by taking ownership of both the management and financial accounting with a keen eye to review and develop processes, procedures, controls & systems. Once comfortable with these aspects of the role, the Head of Finance would be looking for the Finance Manager to support with business partnering, budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis.    The key components of the role would include:   

• Reporting to and deputising for the Head of Finance
• Managing transactional finance team – AP, AR
• Business partnering with Departmental Heads
• Leading on process & continuous improvement projects
• Ownership of financial accounting and reporting
• Ownership of management accounting & month-end
• Supporting taxation & VAT returns with help of External Advisors
• Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow analysis

   Candidate Profile We are keen to engage with candidates that meet the below criteria:   

• Ideally a qualified Accountant, however finalists with few exams remaining will be considered
• Strong financial & management accounting
• Process/continuous improvement experience would be advantageous
