RoleOverview

We are looking for aFinance Assistant Manager who is excited about finance andaccounting and the role it plays in the success of a growingbusiness. We need our Finance Assistant Manager to be a drivenselfstarting individual who can work independently to produce highquality financial material. We are open to applicants with varyinglevels of experience from commericallyfocused finance individualslooking to pursue an accounting qualification to those who arealready part or fully qualified. This role reports directly to theFinance Lead and will play a key role in producing key financialinformation to tight deadlines and working with individuals acrossthe business at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Supporting theexisting team with daytoday tasks such as accounts payable accountsreceivableand payroll and so on whererequired
• Supporting the existing team withmonthend processes to reduce the number ofworking days to closefinancials down to almost realtime
• SupportingFP&A activities such as budgets andforecasts
• Assisting with adhoc tasks such astax queries and the preparation of our annualaccounts
• Assisting senior leadership withdriving the strategy of the Finance function forward includingidentifying opportunities for improvements and efficiencygains

Qualifications

• 2 4 years ofexperience in finance and accounting. We are open to applicants ofvarying levels of experience
• Zeroego approachto work and willingness to roll sleeves up and get involved indaytoday tasks
• Deeply analytical with anintuitive understanding of data and strong dataleddecisionmaking
• Strong attention todetail and problemsolving ability
• Excellentorganisation and timemanagement abilities with the ability toeffectively prioritise and not missdeadlines
• Comfortable using and adapting todifferent software systems
• Able to flex andadapt to the changing needs of the business within a Financerole
• 2:1 Degree or higher in any discipline isadvantageous
• Passionate about the HIVED missionand sustainability moregenerally
