JOB DESCRIPTION Open book equalisations PO control Regular engagement with site ops teams, Reporting team, BU FC's and shared services on inputs and outputs for the completion of common processes Build deep business knowledge for the customer/sites in scope to provide support for decision making Effectively maintain period end and year end closing schedules for the customer/sites in scope Adherence to finance processes and accurate, timely report production at site/customer level
Participate in process improvement workshops and activity Provide regular updates to the Reporting Manager on process completion, issue resolution and any escalations Deliver the processes in scope to the agreed KPI requirements and support performance management Support change programmes Ensure all standard accounting processes on and off system are followed identifying continuous improvement opportunities to the Reporting Manager Manage individual workflow ensuring agreed deadlines are met Any other purchasing or operational admin related activities as required by the Controller or Manager Effective time management skills Clear, effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills Ability to work well in a team Strong financial and analytical skills Customer-facing experience Knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements Experience in accounting in a logistics or similar industry – desirable Studying towards a qualification such as AAT - desirable Access to our Private Medical Insurance through AXA Health Free confidential 24/7 GP service Hundreds of discounts (including retail, childcare + gym) Affordable loans & enhanced pension scheme 24/7 employee support service for you (+ family) with access to free counselling and much more:
