Finance Analyst in Leicester

Our client is a FTSE 100 business, and one of the largest, leading, global Retailers based in Leicester, seeking a Finance Analyst to join the commercial team on a permanent, full-time basis!

As Finance Analyst, based in Leicester, you will be responsible for the following:

• Responsible for providing reports regarding sales, and analysis on these reports
• Reporting sales performance across various revenue streams
• Regular reporting on a daily, or weekly basis
• Business partnering the Commercial Finance teams providing reliable information and insight to help shape decisions
• Deputising the Finance Manager, attending key meetings with senior management, and providing analysis where necessary
• Utilising software to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from various sources
• Maintaining reports and dashboards to track progress, identifying inefficiencies, and measuring KPIs
• Communicating project updates, findings, and recommending improvements to key stakeholders

The successful Finance Analyst will have the following experience:

• Ideally a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) OR Part-Qualified (actively working towards ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
• Stakeholder management experience
• Experienced and ambitious Analyst, with excellent reporting skills and an inquisitive mind
• It literate and advanced Excel skills
• Clear communication skills
• Ability to prioritise workloads
