Job Opportunity: Field Service EngineerLocation: South East RegionJob Category: Field ServiceJob Type: Full TimeA leading company in the construction and recycling machinery industry is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in plant machinery maintenance and repair.Main Responsibilities:Equipment Maintenance:Perform routine maintenance and breakdown repairs on a range of machinery, including Hyundai, Terex, Sennebogen, and other recycling and waste machinery.Handle warranty and damage repairs.Conduct site visits across various regions.Provide clear and detailed reports of work performed and necessary repairs using an engineer iPad.Ensure 100% recovery of managed tasks.Vehicle and Communication:Maintain the company vehicle and report any defects.Communicate effectively with customers and team members.Additional Responsibilities:Diagnostic Tools:Utilize diagnostic tools and software for engine diagnostics.Work Experience Requirements:Extensive experience in the plant industry is essential.NVQ Level 3 Plant Maintenance or equivalent.Preferably holds a CSCS card.Proficient with diagnostic tools and software, including engine diagnostics.Capable of thriving in a busy and ever-changing environment.High attention to detail and conscientiousness.Dealer experience is preferred but not essential.Education Requirements:Good general education, including proficiency in English, Maths, and IT.Valid driving license.Additional Details:Manufacturers training will be provided.Full in-house system training will be provided.Tool allowance of £40.00 per month.VW Crafter Van with racking and specialist tooling provided.Company mobile phone.Company laptop and/or iPad.This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled Field Service Engineers looking to advance their career with a reputable company.
