Field Care Supervisor in Telford

Right at Home Telford is a premium, local care provider, delivering high-quality care and support to adults living in the comfort of their own home. We are actively recruiting an organised, reliable, and caring Field Care Supervisor for our growing office.

Requirements of a Field Care Supervisor

• You must hold a valid driving licence and access to a reliable car
• Must have right to work full-time in the UK – We cannot consider candidates restricted to 20-hours and do not have licence to offer certificate of sponsorship.
• Senior or supervisor experience within home care
• Ability to be flexible with hours, some evening and weekend hours required
• Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
• Good computer skills including proficient use of MS Office, the ability to produce reports and good computer systems knowledge
• Experience of care planning and conducting 1-to-1s preferred though training can be provided.
• Self-motivated and flexible, with a willingness to participate in an on-call system for out of office hours

Competitive salary - £24,000 - £27,000 + pay for care calls delivered outside of normal working hours or time in lieu

Main duties and responsibilities include:

Provide support to our caregivers in their day-to-day job

Onboard new carers and introduce them to Clients

Participate in new Client assessments, complete and update care plans and risk assessments.

Draw up tailored person-centred care plans for new Clients

Maintain ongoing service user compliance, by undertaking care plan and risk assessment reviews

Carry out introductions every time a care assistant is matched to a Client for the first time

Monitor, supervise and mentor all care assistants

Ensure all services are compliant with legislations, CQC standards and regulations

Monitor and assess all Clients for customer satisfaction

Ensure the recording of all necessary information clearly and legibly in line with record keeping policies and procedures

Responding to queries from Clients

Deliver care calls as required in emergencies and gaps in rota

Take a turn on a rota basis to manage the office on-call telephone support service, including every other weekend.

Building relationships with the residents and families to ensure we deliver personalised care

To ensure training needs of all staff are met effectively –identify and organise provision of training needs

To arrange and deliver induction training and assess the competency of care assistants completing the Care Certificate to meet the Company’s recruitment needs.

We cover Telford, Shifnal, Newport, Bridgnorth, Codsall, Bishop’s Wood, Pattingham, Priorslee, Lilleshall therefore local area knowledge is highly desirable.
