Adecco is excited to partner with a thriving Property Management Consultancy to recruit for an Operations Manager in Mid-Kent!

As an Operations Manager, you'll work closely with the Building Manager to ensure the building runs smoothly and efficiently.

Your main responsibilities will include overseeing cleaning and security contracts, maintenance programs, and supporting fitting works.

Experience in building management and maintenance is a plus, but we welcome applicants with strong operational management skills.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise cleaning and security contracts, maintaining high performance standards and conducting regular evaluations.

Manage on-site engineers and contractors, ensuring timely completion of maintenance tasks within budget.

Oversee health and safety requirements, including routine fire drills, emergency procedures training, and risk assessments.

Investigate incidents to minimize public liability claims and ensure compliance with insurance requirements.

Lead and supervise the Maintenance Team, optimizing in-house resources and reducing labor costs.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with retailers, addressing technical queries and facilitating shop fits for tenants.

Coordinate commercial traders on the mall, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards and mall policies.

Support environmental initiatives, monitor energy consumption, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Act as Duty Manager in the absence of the Centre Manager, ensuring seamless operations.

Attend off-site meetings and conferences as required.

Qualifications and Skills: ✅ Previous experience in building management or maintenance is preferred but not essential.

✅ Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused approach.

✅ Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.

✅ Flexible approach to work.
