Eku Energy is looking for an Executive Assistant to support its rapidly growing global energy storage business. 

Eku Energy is an energy storage player that develops, builds, owns, and operates grid scale battery storage projects across several markets globally including the UK, Australia and Japan. This role is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join the team as the business looks to move to the next phase of growth in becoming a global market leader. Initially established by Macquarie’s Green Investment Group, Eku Energy is jointly owned by a Macquarie Asset Management managed fund and British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI). 

Join our Eku Energy UK team as a highly motivated executive assistant to help support the transition to a low carbon, sustainable global economy. This is a London based role that requires 4 days in the office with some degree of hybrid working. 

The Executive Assistant will be a key member of our team by providing a full administration service to the business. Supporting all our functions and working as part of our wider team means that this is a great opportunity to gain exposure in all areas of the business; further developing your knowledge as you continue your career. 

Your collaborative approach will be utilized to ensure effective delivery of administration to the business as well as providing input into ad-hoc projects, including global initiatives as required.

Requirements

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the CEO and senior team  
  • Manage and organise calendar arrangements and travel bookings and expenses for the CEO and senior executives across multiple time zones  
  • You will coordinate and manage team conferences and internal/external events 
  • Coordinate catering for internal and external meetings when necessary 
  • Provide basic IT troubleshooting for the CEO, liaising with our IT provider and Head of IT 
  • Take minutes at meetings as required 
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal communications. 
  • Offer ad hoc administrative support across the team as needed 
  • You will support mailing and shipping packages and documents and update contract databases and employee lists 
  • You will collaborate with office managers across multiple timezones and take an active role to support the success of the business 
  • You will coordinate with external vendors, oversee supplies (including office consumables) 
  • Attend all staff meetings as appropriate 
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal communications 
  • Any other duties consistent with successful administration
