Prax Lindsey Oil Refinery located in North Lincolnshire is a key asset for the Prax Group and is a world-class supplier of quality fuels.
Constructed in 1968, it has the capacity to process up to 5.
4 million tonnes of crude oil per year (up to 113,000 barrels a day) and currently employs around 450 staff in addition to a similar complement of contract personnel.
The refinery extends over 500 acres and incorporates some of the most advanced refining and conversion processes in Europe, supplying products by road, rail, sea and pipeline.
To meet future demands, Prax Lindsey Oil Refinery is developing a next generation refinery with an unwavering commitment to decarbonise and reduce our CO2 released into atmosphere as the site transitions to become a leading, low carbon refinery.

We are currently recruiting for an Environmental Engineer, reporting to the Technical Authority Environment within our HSEQI Department.
Working as part of the Environmental Team, the successful candidate will actively liaise with, and support, the business teams and other departments to ensure compliance with our environmental management system, the environmental permit requirements and ISO14001.
Key responsibilities include:
Qualifications/Experience Required:
A competent facilitator and practitioner in key environmental areas, you will possess the communication skills (both written and verbal) and enthusiasm needed to work with others both internally and externally.
Applicants should be a recognised Graduate in Chemical Engineering or equivalent scientific discipline.
Ideally a Chartered Engineer (holding or working towards accreditation), a NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management (holding or working towards accreditation).
