English Teacher requiredLeigh Academy BlackheathFull time role, September 2024 startThe Supply Register is currently working in partnership with the Leigh Academies Trust of schools and the Leigh Academy in Blackheath to find a passionate and knowledgeable English Teacher to join their team from the September 2024.
We are looking for a Teacher who aligns with the Trust's approach to curriculum and teaching.
The successful candidate will work closely with other teachers and leaders in the department, as well as across the LAT network to secure excellent outcomes for all pupils.
ResponsibilitiesImplementation of the English/ Media Studies curriculumProvide exciting and varied lessons for pupilsAchievement of consistently outstanding teaching and learning in englishAchievement of outstanding academic attainment and progress in englishDevelop strong partnerships and ensure regular and productive communication with parents.
Maintain regular and productive communication with pupils, parents, and colleaguesRequirementsMust hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications for the UKEvidence of being, or having the potential to be, an outstanding teacher and leader of the subjectUp to date knowledge in the curriculum areaAn understanding of what an outstanding education looks like in the classroom.
An understanding of the strategies needed to establish consistently high expectations.
