Hello Education are supporting a local Secondary School who are urgently needing an English Teacher to start in the new Academic term, starting September 2024.We are looking for someone who can teach English at a Key Stage 3 and a Key Stage 4 level. We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for education and a desire to inspire children. The ideal candidate would have a kind and caring nature, be understanding and compassionate, and have excellent behaviour management skills.The ideal candidate will have the following:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).A relevant degree.Previous experience teaching secondary aged children in English.Good behaviour management skills.A passion for teaching and education, be compassionate & understanding, and encouraging towards children.A good knowledge of Safeguarding and the relevant procedures.A desire to make a difference in children’s lives.Hello Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance: ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education.’ This may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary ongoing position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
