English Teacher in Hounslow

We have a great opportunity for an English Teacher to deliver accredited learning to disengaged learners undertaking English study programmes such as Functional Skills, GCSE, and A Level.

The role holder will be responsible for teaching a range of courses as directed, to a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rated level.

You will develop learner-centred teaching, learning and assessment strategies, which contribute to increased retention, achievement, and progression of the young people we support.

You will have: * Qualified to deliver accredited English programmes of study.

* Possession of a relevant teaching or training qualification (e.

g.

QTS, QTLS, DTTLS, PGCE) * Experience of teaching on and assessing accredited English qualifications from Entry Level to Level 3.

* An ongoing interest in and knowledge of recent developments in English qualification delivery.
