Class Act Teaching Services are currently looking for an English Teacher in Oxford to start in September 2024.

This English Teacher role is initially for 1 term but, at the discretion of the school, this could be extended.

The Secondary School is driven to provide an inclusive education where every student has access to an education that gives them the support and resources needed to thrive.

The school are looking for an experienced teacher who can make a positive impact on both the school and the students.

English Teacher Role:Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 English curriculum for both literature and language.

Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resourcesWork effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the schoolAbility to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedbackAble to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessonsCompliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of theseEnglish Teacher Requirements:Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for teaching in Secondary SchoolHave recent mainstream school-based experience as an English TeacherHave a good level of classroom and behaviour managementA relevant English related degree is desirable.
