As an English Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire students to develop their language skills, critical thinking abilities, and a lifelong love for literature.

Key Responsibilities: English Teachers will design and deliver engaging and interactive English lessons to students in Year 7 – Year 11.

Explore diverse literary genres, fostering discussions and analysis to develop students' critical thinking.

Facilitate language development through reading, writing, speaking, and listening activities.

Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.

Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages collaboration and respect.

Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and assessments, providing timely feedback.

Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum, share resources, and develop interdisciplinary lessons.

Participate in parent-teacher conferences to discuss students' academic and personal growth.

Qualifications and Requirements:  Bachelor's degree in English, Literature, or a related fieldTeaching certification or QTS desirable Demonstrated experience teaching English at the secondary school level preferredDeep passion for literature, language, and fostering a love for learning.

Effective communication skills to engage students in discussions and activities.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Familiarity with educational technology and its integration into teaching.
