Working days Monday to Friday, salary dependent on experience, the role comes with 25 days holiday plus stats, company contributory pension scheme and private healthcare.The Role – Engineering Site Manager * We are seeking a dedicated individual to be responsible for managing and leading a small team of multi-skilled engineers, working on variety of automated machinery, to include automated storage and retrieval systems, chain conveyors, roller conveyors, gravity roller conveyors and automated cranes. * Providing operational management oversight, demonstrating responsibility and ownership of the allocated customer site. * Ensuring that the company and customers safety regulations are always followed. * It is essential the successful candidate tracks site performance and reports results against customer KPIs using the install CMMS system. * There will be times where you will be needed to work as a hands-on engineer and assist the team. * Deal promptly with all customer enquiries and problems.The Person – Engineering Site Manager * The ideal candidate will manage and coordinate the daily activities of the engineering team, previous experience in an Engineering Managers / Supervisors role is essential. * An Apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering or have a recognised engineering qualification. * You will be a dedicated individual who attains strong skills and knowledge in leadership, administration, Health and Safety, communication, client engagement, flexibility, teamwork and integrity. * Experience of PPM, CMMS systems and shift planning. * Able to drive continuous improvements. * This is a customer facing role, so you will need excellent communication and organisational skills. * A good understanding of all Microsoft Packages and the ability to write and deliver reports to Swisslog and the Customer. * Applicants must communicate openly, effectively and consistently with all stakeholder groups and focus on customer needs and customer satisfaction.Our promise to youSwisslog is a world of opportunity for people who can deliver a game changing mission: driving the future of intralogistics, by shaping an era of robotic and data-driven automated solutions that create exceptional customer value.Join us on this journey and you’ll be part of a global enterprise that’s proud of its Swiss roots - and hugely excited by the worldwide opportunities open to everyone in the Swisslog family.
