Engineering ManagerUp to £49,000 plus BonusIrlamPermanent, Full TimeRussell Taylor Group have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Manager / Maintenance Manager to join our growing manufacturing client in the Irlam area. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the engineering team to carry out effective maintenance across the site. The role is open to experienced Engineering Managers and also Engineering Team Leaders looking for their next career move. Genuine progression opportunities exist at this company as this role will be backfilling the previous Engineering Manager who has now been promoted to Site Manager.Please apply now to be considered!The RoleSchedule and plan maintenance works.Develop and maintain work order request/PPM via CMMS software.Devise a strategy for the siter to ensure machine and equipment availability.Drive and manage KPI's, including downtime, PPM and budget.Organise maintenance training requirement in accordance with business needs and regulation.Maintaining a high safety standard to support site in achieving Zero TIR target.Develop and manage the maintenance standard.Management of capital investment projects, considering planning, execution, permits, method statements and safety practices.Supporting site manager to implement Opex related projects.Oversee the engineering budget and focus on cost-saving ideas by negotiating with NPR suppliers.Run effective LOTO system and adhere to site permits.The Person5 years+ experience as Departmental ManagerKnowledge of Rotating Equipment, Stationary Equipment Vessels, Tanks and Hoppers.HNC/HND in mechanical, process or chemical engineering.IOSH, NEBOSH, DSEAR experience.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
