Engineering Manager in Enfield

Could you be our next Engineering Manager working for the largest Bakery in Europe ?

Due to the relocation of our current incumbent, Warburtons have an opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team in Enfield.

Working alongside the General Manager as part of our Senior Leadership team and working in close collaboration with our national manufacturing excellence function. You’ll engage, motivate and lead a skilled team of 30 plus engineers, utilising root cause analysis to identify and prioritize corrective, preventative, predictive and mitigating actions.

Here at Warburtons we have a continuous improvement culture and keeping our colleagues and customers safe is our number one priority. As the Engineering Manager, you’ll also be the duty holder for Health and Safety on site working alongside our HSE Manager.

As Engineering Manager, you’ll work closely with site teams to drive improvement through efficient and innovative ways of working. Establishing strong relationships with our central engineering and manufacturing excellence teams, you’ll value cross functional working and the opportunity to be involved in national projects.

As an engineering function, we understand the importance of condition-based monitoring, ensuring our machines have the minimum levels of intrusion whilst achieving the required reliability. Our engineers are one step ahead of any possible breakdown.
