Rail Delivery Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Energy & Sustainability Lead to join our Railway Strategy & Policy team. As an industry leader in the transportation sector, Rail Delivery Group is committed to creating a simpler, better railway for our customers.  As the Energy & Sustainability Lead, you will play a key role in advancing our energy procurement strategy and require strong numeracy skills. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to develop and implement strategies that promote sustainable practices and mitigate the environmental impact of our operations.  You will develop and implement strategies that will contribute to the long-term sustainability of the rail industry.

Your expertise and passion for environmental responsibility will drive our continued efforts to minimize the environmental impact of rail transport. With a deep understanding of the transportation industry and sustainability best practices, you will lead the development and management of programs and initiatives that drive change. You will collaborate with decision makers, industry experts, and key stakeholders to ensure that our efforts align with industry standards and contribute to the long-term viability of the rail industry. We believe that by working together, we can contribute to a thriving rail industry that meets the needs of our customers today and in the future.

As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, you will also identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency to enhance our sustainability initiatives. This will involve monitoring and analysing data, establishing performance metrics, and reporting on progress to senior management.
